  • Raimundo Figueroa (b. 1957) is an American artist with a rich background in painting and violin playing. Figueroa's early musical education took place at the esteemed Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, under the leadership of Pablo Casals. His talent as a painter earned him the Gold Medal from the Puerto Rico Institute of Culture in 1972 and the Honorary Medal at the Mexico Biennial in 1987. Figueroa furthered his education at renowned institutions such as the Manhattan School of Music, the University of Cincinnati, UCLA, and the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.

    Figueroa's art career has spanned over four decades, participating in numerous exhibitions and biennials, including those held in Mexico, Sao Paolo, Chile, Florence, and Tokyo, among others. His works are part of many international collections, such as the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico, Sao Paolo, Dominican Republic, Museo Tamayo, Bacardi Corporation, Citibank, and others.
